Ashley Darby (born April 14 1988) was born on April 14, 1980. She is an American actress and singer. She gained fame when she being named Miss District of Columbia, in 2011. From the beginning in The Real Housewives of Potomac in the beginning of January, 2016, she has played an important role on the show. Ashley Darby has a strong passion for entrepreneurship, hospitality, and healthy lifestyles. Ashley, who is from Maryland and is a fiery character, was instilled by her parents with the determination to be successful. Being the most senior child in her family, Ashley grew up juggling various jobs to provide for her mother who was a single parent and the younger siblings. After turning 18 she enrolled at the University of Maryland, and also bartended to help her ensure a secure financial future for herself and the family. Ashley was noticed in the Miss District of Columbia Pageant as she bartended and was awarded her crown in 2011. Soon thereafter Ashley was introduced to Michael Darby an Australian real millionaire in the real estate industry who's nearly 29 years older than her.
