Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born 13 June 1962 in America, is an actress. She made her acting debut as an actress on Bad Boys in 1983. In the years since, she's been in WarGames in 1985, The Breakfast Club in 1986, and Short Circuit in 1986. Her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Ally Sheedy has been an American author and actress for over 20 years. Her film career began beginning in the early 1980s, with the film based on a crime drama Bad Boys, for which she earned a lot of applause. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie that also featured a number of prominent stars Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. After her debut success in a film that she appeared in, the actress acted in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. The movie was directed by John Hughes is considered one among the most memorable high school films of all time. Even though it had a budget of only $1 million, the movie's earnings exceeded $50 Million. Meanwhile she had also started being featured in various shows on TV like CBS Schoolbreak which was her TV debut. In April 1980, the show began to air. The show was designed for teens. The other shows she appeared in included Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister, a film about a super hero in which Sheedy plays an appearance in a minor role. Sheedy has received numerous awards for her outstanding performances, including the MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
